The inner diameter of the vessel is 340 mm. Bigger than other 300-liter machines available in the market. And by listening to users we have made big baskets, in such a manner that 2 of them fill the vessel. Higher diameter and longer baskets make them easier to fill and you put more product inside each cycle. The pumps have been designed in modules of 90 kW each, you choose the initial number of modules. Or buy them later.

TWO STAGE PUMPING

In the market you can find two manners of getting an adequate pressurisation time: The first one is using more power and more pumps, it is the evident solution, and despite its extra cost it is being used. The second solution is to use proprietary very big pressure intensifiers. This is smarter but you are tied to the manufacturer for life. Proprietary spares at no-discussion prices for pressure intensifier components that you could buy online weren’t they so special.

IDUS is using two types of commercial american-made pressure intensifiers. A first 4000-bar set of intensifiers raise the pressure up to 3600-3900 bar, and then a set of 6000-bar intensifiers go on up to the 6000-bar goal. All of them standard intensifiers made by specialists. 4000-bar intensifiers have a much better performance than 6000-bar intensifiers when working at lower pressure, and their maintenance cost is way cheaper. Then, 6000-bar units need work for much less time and with a slower stroke time, only for a fraction of the time they would work in standard configurations. So, our machines have a top-of-the-line performance lowering at the same time the maintenance costs.
