IDUS HPP SYSTEMS was created as a spin-off from Metronics Technologies. Today, Metronics is the world leader in the design, manufacturing, and sale of waterjet cutters for pastry applications. High-pressure technology was mastered up to 4,000 bar, and with IDUS, the step has been taken to reach 6,000 bar.

It hasn’t been an easy journey, but as of today, HPP machines of 10, 25, 50, and 300 liters have been developed, laying the groundwork to go even further.

IDUS has developed its own vessel and yoke winding machine, as well as furnaces for the pre-manufacturing processes. One of our machines completed 20,000 cycles in 18 months—not a record, but still impressive for a first machine of its kind—and another has been in full production for three years now.

As a small company, we are open to technical or commercial collaborations with other industrial companies where interesting synergies may arise. The HPP machine market is highly competitive, and IDUS brings practical design solutions and manufacturing costs in line with the best in the industry.
