The company founders were previously involved in other HPP projects gaining great expertise in high pressure processing for the fish market. After all this experience, they decided to install our machine in their new facilities in Cantabria. In this renovated factory they process sea products based in the HPP technology. From cod fillets to anchovies, calamary, octopus, mussels, shrimps and more.

The extended shelf life gained with HPP in such a fast spoiling products gives them the opportunity to access the European market shipping out their products from Spain. Now they are incorporating new positions to their staff in order to satisfy this growing demand in many supermarket chains.

With its expandable processing capacity and 340 mm inner diameter vessel, the Idus 300L machine is the perfect unit for Böreal Artik. It will match their current and future processing needs. We can add two more pumping units in this machine to increase the production rate to some 1600 kg/hour.
